Today is World Cerebral Palsy Day

There are 17 million people around the world with Cerebral Palsy. A further 350 million people are closely connected to a child or adult with CP. So the first ever World Cerebral Palsy Day – which takes place on 4 September – is long overdue!

The theme of the day is ’Change my world in 1 minute’, and a dedicated website will help make this possible by providing a forum for people with Cerebral Palsy (and their families) to express what they need to make their life more independent or more rewarding.

Visitors to the website will be able to vote on all the ideas, and the best ones will be turned into reality by a group of researchers, inventors, and innovators.

Visit www.worldcpday.org for more information and to register.
