Over the past 43 years, the services and facilities offered by the KZN Cerebral Palsy Association have expanded to meet the ever growing needs of those we serve.

Browns' School
Our first and perhaps most well known project, established in 1969, was the Browns' School, which was designed to meet the educational needs of children born with Cerebral Palsy. From small beginnings, the school has grown to a purpose built facility comparable with the best in the world and now serving around 360 children.

Although the school retains close ties with our Association, it now operates independently.

Pevensey Place
Established in 1970, Pevensey Place is a functioning farm in the Underberg district which offers residential facilities and work for Cerebral Palsied adults who cannot live independently in the outside world.

CREST (Centre for Recreation, Education, Stimulation and Therapeutic Activities)
Situated at our head offices in Mariannhill Park, the Centre offers day care for older disabled children and adults who are intellectually challenged.

Reunion School
In 1994, we were fortunate to acquire a disused school in the Isipingo area which has been turned into the only school in the world where Cerebral Palsied children receive education and therapy in their mother tongue, Zulu, as well as in English.

CWAC (Children with a Challenge)
This specialised day care centre, also situated at our Mariannhill Park premises, offers loving care for young children whose disabilities are too severe to allow them to benefit from any form of schooling. They are dependent on their care-givers for all their needs.

Therapy Centre
Our newest facility at Mariannhill Park, the Centre offers specialised equipment and therapy designed to enhance the lives of our profoundly disabled Cerebral Palsied children and adults.
